The Parish Church is a grand building having a history going back to the 13th century. The Church withholds many ancient treasures to be admired and a spectacular Organ that was built in 1997. However, it is not the only magnificent building within Wantage and the surrounding area. Placed in the town centre is the Church of SS. Peter and Paul. As well as the Church of Holy Trinity, Charlton.

Wantage is also admired for its lovely collection of pubs. Such as, the iconic King Alfred’s Head.
